Head of Delegation Petros Mavromichalis was received by President Yamandú Orsi at Uruguay's Executive Tower to present his credentials and thus officially begin functions as the European Union Ambassador to this country.

The meeting - at which Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin was also present - was cordial, and allowed Ambassador Mavromichalis the opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest with the President.
