The EU is taking further action against Russia with new restrictive measures targeting those responsible for the unlawful deportation and forcible transfer of Ukrainian children, as well as individuals involved in the repression of democratic opposition and the undermining of democracy and the rule of law in Russia.

For Europe to remain a global space power, the EU must be able not only to use space, but also to secure access to it and to preserve freedom of action in times of crises.

The international community must continue to press Russia for a ceasefire and a negotiated peace.
