The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Austria visits Villa Europa – 8 July

It was a great pleasure and honour for Ambassador Martin Selmayr to welcome the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, to Villa Europa, the diplomatic headquarters of the EU in Rome today. A very committed and knowledgeable member of the diverse TeamEurope, which, under the leadership of Kaja Kallas, is trying to give Europe a strong voice in the current era of harsh geostrategic conflicts - especially at the United Nations, where Austria is working in Rome together with all EU states at the FAO and the WFP to ensure sustainable global food security. Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger and Ambassador Martin Selmayr  discussed the current situation in the Middle East and the ongoing Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
