FAO Conference starts in Rome – 28 June 2025

Ambassador Martin Selmayr participates to the 44^th Session of the FAO Conference

Today, the 44th Session of the FAO Conference starts in Rome. The FAO Conference is the supreme Governing Body of this important specialized Organization of the United Nations, in which 195 Members - 194 countries and the European Union- work together on food security, sustainable agrifood systems and the fight against hunger #SDG2.

The team of EUDEL Rome works closely together with Poland, the current rotating EU Council Presidency, the incoming Danish Council Presidency, and all EU Member States, to launch this FAO Conference successfully as a strong & united Team Europe
