As part of the fifth edition of the #EUBeachCleanUP campaign, the EU Delegation in Rome and the European Commission Representation office in in Rome, in collaboration with the NGO Plastic Free Odv Onlus, organize a beach clean-up in Torvaianica on Sunday 2 October.

The beach clean-up will be an opportunity to join forces and contribute to the reduction of waste, which threatens the marine ecosystem, recalling the European Union's commitment to share good practices for the protection of the seas and oceans.

This year, the #EUBeachCleanup campaign is especially addressed to our Youth, as the year 2022 is officially the European Year of Youth. The new generations play a key role in the dissemination of awareness-raising actions on the importance of reducing marine litter.
