21 September, New York - The Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, José Graziano da Silva, and the European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development, Neven Mimica, will hold a press briefing at the signing of a partnership agreement to boost resilience of people affected by food crises. The press briefing will take place on 25 September, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, during the General Assembly.
The € 70 million partnership agreement will reinforce the Global Network against Food Crises and boost international efforts to provide evidence-based responses to food crises, engaging humanitarian, development and peace actors.
