AUCTION NOTICE for sale of used home furniture and office equipment

In accordance with its procedures, the Delegation of the European Union (EUD) to Azerbaijan will be holding a silent auction in 2 different lots to dispose of surplus and obsolete home furnitures and office equipment (Xerox copier) in the condition of "worn and written off". The full list of items is indicated in the attached Annexes I, II – Bid Form.

The items in the auction can be viewed at the address below at the following dates and times:


Lot 1. Home furniture:


Royal Park, House # B6, External Circle Road 10, Yeni Yasamal District, Monday, 25/06/2018 from 13:00 to 16:00 and Wednesday, 27/06/2018 from 14:00 to 16:00 .


The home furniture (IKEA made) listed in the Annex I will be sold in this silent auction per item and a potential buyer should indicate in the bidding form (Annex I) his/her bid  price for selected items. Each item has a  reserve (minimum) price. The bids should not be below these prices.  


Please note that the furniture is less than 2 years old and is in very good condition.


Lot 2. Malfunctioning Xerox WC 7435:


Landmark III, 90A Nizami Street AZ1010, Baku, Azerbaijan , 11th floor, EU Delegation office

Wednesday, 27/06/2018 from 14:00 to 17:00.


There is no reserve price for this copier.


We will be accepting bids in Azerbaijani manat (AZN) for the items to be sold in sealed envelopes (see attached bid forms as Annex I, II – Bid Form) in the "BID BOX" located at the address of furniture location indicated in the above paragraph for Lot 1 (during auction time only) and at the reception of the Delegation on the 11th floor of the Landmark-3, Nizami 90A (any time between 10:00 to 17:00 during working days until 28/06/2018.


All offers will be opened by an Auction Committee designated according to the rules.


The items will be awarded to the highest bids submitted . 


Successful bidders will be notified by email at the latest by Thursday 28/06/2018 to coordinate payment and pick-up procedures. Failure to remove the items from the EU premises and locations by 29/06/2018 will result in them being offered to the next highest bidder. 


Please note that:

  • bids are not negotiable once submitted;
  • payment must be made in cash (AZN) before/at collection of the items;
  • dismantling and removal of all items bought are the buyer’s responsibility;
  • all items are sold as is, in their present condition with no guarantee or warranty.
