The European Union Delegation to Australia, together with nine EU Member States (Austria, Germany, Czechia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal and Spain) will be taking part in the Global Table summit that brings together leaders in the agriculture, food and beverage industries.
The three-day business event involves 3000+ participants and includes both conference/discussion and exhibition areas. The EU Delegation and EU Member States will host a stand in the exhibition space on 3-5 September. Here visitors can learn about Geographical Indications (GIs) and taste delicious food products from across Europe.
GI's are the EU's system identifying and protecting food products based on origin and form an important part of the ongoing negotiations towards a modern and comprehensive EU-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
