The EU Business Climate Report Azerbaijan 2019 was launched during the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum on 13 June 2019.
The 4th business survey was carried out by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan), with support of the EU. The survey aims to assess the current conditions for doing business in Azerbaijan, highlighting key reform achievements and remaining bottlenecks.
Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas, Head of the EU Delegation, on the Report: "The European Union is helping to create the best possible business environment for the development of cooperation between the EU and Azerbaijan. As in previous editions, the fourth EU Business Climate Report Azerbaijan surveys the current business climate in Azerbaijan, presenting the perspectives of a large selection of companies that do business in the country. The report’s findings are based on the views of no fewer than 130 companies, out of a total of approximately 400 EU companies currently active in Azerbaijan. They range from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to large companies, and operate across a wide range of industries. Efforts to improve the business climate lie at the heart of our cooperation with Azerbaijan."
