#ErasmusDays2025: Live our values, inspire our future

#ErasmusDays2025 took place last week (13–18 October) across Europe, the rest of the world and Ukraine!

The campaign’s spotlight was on the values of the European Union under the theme: #ErasmusDays2025: Live our values, inspire our future. And who better than Ukrainians to truly understand the price of freedom, dignity, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights? These values are not just words to Ukrainians — they are a lived experience, a daily struggle, and our shared commitment as part of the European family.

During #ErasmusDays, we celebrate and amplify the spirit of inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity and non-discrimination — empowering new #ErasmusGeneration of students, educators and youth to carry these values forward. Because Erasmus+ is not only about opportunities. It is about choosing values — and choosing the future.

The events in Ukraine started with official opening by the Directorate General of Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of European Commission, EU Delegation to Ukraine and Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine and followed by the series different events and activities. Almost 100 events in Ukraine are registered on the global map of initiative at https://www.erasmusdays.eu/

We are happy to see Ukraine strengthening its place in the Erasmus+ community — active, strong and creative,” — said Henrik Huitfeldt, Head of Section for Public Finance, Business Support and Social Policies at the EU Delegation to Ukraine, opening ErasmusDays 2025 in Kyiv.
