What to Expect:

• Overview of key EU cultural programs in partnership with Ukrainian artists (Creative Europe, House of Europe);
• Meetings with Ukrainian artists and visits to art studios;
• Visiting galleries, museums, and getting inspiration for projects;
• Insights from experienced Ukrainian artists on international collaboration, partnerships, and market entry;
• Discussing the present relations between the European Union and Ukraine;

Upon successfully completing the course, participants can progress to the following stages of the programme, including cultural exchanges and artistic residencies.

Participant selection is based on the content of applications submitted.

Selection Criteria:

• Artists/creative professionals with proven experience in their art genre/format (backed up by CV, portfolio, and / or links to relevant works, exhibitions);
• Commitment to and interest in the intersection of art and social issues, esp. in the context of EU-Ukraine relations;
• Presence of an idea for an art project that they could produce as a result of their participation in the project;
• Resident in EU member-state;
• Working proficiency in English;
• An active presence on social media will be desirable to maximize the multiplier role;
• Tentative commitment/availability for ALL stages of the project in case of further selection;
