The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine invites to join the EU Study Days Alumni Forum.

Forum will gather former participants of EU Study Days from 2013 to 2017 years. We expect close to 200 participants to take part in the event, which will be held on 28-29 September 2017 in Kyiv.

EU Study Days Forum will mark five years anniversary of EU Study Days and will bring together alumni for a unique and thought-provoking discussion with inspiring key note speakers. The forum will provide a range of opportunities to:

  • Meet graduates from past sessions, find new friends and join a network of active people in Ukraine, interested to exchange their experience and implement joint EU – Ukraine initiatives in the future;
  • Learn about cooperation with the EU Delegation and EU supported projects and programmes in Ukraine;
  • Learn about prospects of employment and career opportunities in the EU institutions, Ukrainian government, business and NGOs sector;
  • Learn about educational opportunities in the EU for students and graduates of Ukrainian universities;
  • Get in touch with young reformers and join Reforms Support Teams;
  • Learn about the grants and business opportunities for the Ukrainian youth;

 

Who is eligible to apply?

The project is open to all EU Study Days alumni from all Ukrainian regions.

Priority will be given to students and graduates who built their careers closely linked to the EU activities and to the EU-Ukraine relations, the EU projects or non-governmental or private initiatives.

Deadline for applications: August 1st, 2017, 23:00.

 

200 persons will be selected to participate in the session. The selection will be made on the basis of the submitted application upon the following criteria: a) the motivation of the applicant; b) active involvement and career related to the EU integration and EU-Ukraine relations; c) representation of the highest possible number of Ukraine's regions amongst the participants; d) involvement in other activities related to the European integration of Ukraine or the EU projects in Ukraine.

 

About the project

The EU Study Days is an education project initiated by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine. It provides the opportunity for Ukrainian university students and graduates to gain deeper knowledge about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations from key experts in the field and from different viewpoints. The project also facilitates the establishment of a network of young Ukrainians who will be able to share their experiences and implement joint initiatives in the future.

Participation is free of charge. The project covers travel, accommodation and meals of participants from other cities.

Ukrainian and English are the two official languages of the EU Study Days series.
