Erasmus+: EU Delegation hosts webinar with Uganda's Ministry of Education

The European Union (EU) Delegation to Uganda, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Sports, hosted a webinar to raise awareness about Erasmus+ scholarship opportunities. The event attracted over 250 participants, eager to learn about the various schemes available for studying in Europe.
During the session, three Erasmus+ alumni—Ritah, Denis, and Hannington—shared their personal experiences and insights on studying abroad through the prestigious scholarship program. Their testimonies provided valuable perspectives on academic life in Europe and the benefits of international exchange.
A representative from the International Relations Office of Makerere University also explained how the International Credit Mobility scheme operates within the university, highlighting opportunities for student and staff exchanges with European institutions.
The webinar aimed to guide prospective applicants on how to access Erasmus+ scholarships, which offer funding for Ugandan students to pursue higher education in European universities.
