The EU CBRN Centres of Excellence (CoE) Initiative is a worldwide programme of 56 partner countries, financed under the EU’s Instrument contributing to Stability & Peace (IcSP), which aims at mitigating risks related to CBRN materials and promoting the establishment of a culture of security.
The overall objective of the programme is to contribute to poverty reduction in Africa in the context of sustainable development through support to private sector led inclusive green growth which fosters transformation towards green economy.
The project seeks to conserve biodiversity Rwenzori Mountains National Park and contibute to improving the livelihoods of local communities through sustainable financing mechanisms.
