Teaser

The project will support the ADA University as a whole and particularly its Centre of Excellence in EU Studies (CEEUS) to address main challenges in its further development as both national and international renowned university.

Text

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the university’s capacity in four strategic directions: i) institution building, ii) teaching, iii) research and iv) outreach activities and to help the university to fully integrate the CEEUS into the university structures.

This purpose will be achieved through measures that aim at:

  • Development of a mid-term sustainability strategy for the CEEUS that includes staffing, branding, online and social media presence;
  • Further development of teaching & learning capacity in EU studies by planning and implementing strategies on fostering student recruitment, programme marketing, graduates’ employability, key learning activities as well as internationalization;
  • Development of a roadmap to achieve research excellence for integration into the European Research Area and provision of an annual action plan including a pilot project;
  • Institutionalization of training needs analyses and training models in EU studies, development and implementation of programmes in executive education and for targeting schools, youth and a wider population.

Successfully implemented, the project will show how to develop and offer programmes in EU studies nationally and internationally for the benefit of students, but also government bodies and the business world.
