Vysoká predstaviteľka/podpredsedníčka Komisie Federica Mogheriniová predložila tretiu správu o pokroku pri vykonávaní globálnej stratégie Európskej únie pod názvom „Globálna stratégia EÚ v praxi – po troch rokoch hľadíme do budúcnosti“, o ktorej budú na zasadnutí Rady pre zahraničné veci 17. júna 2019 v Luxemburgu diskutovať ministri zahraničných vecí a ministri obrany EÚ. Správa sa zaoberá pokrokom dosiahnutým za posledné tri roky od predstavenia globálnej stratégie v júni 2016, a to v týchto piatich prioritných oblastiach: bezpečnosť Únie, odolnosť štátov a sociálnych systémov na juhu a východe, integrovaný prístup ku konfliktom a krízam, kooperatívne regionálne usporiadania a globálne riadenie v 21. storočí. Zároveň navrhuje možné smerovanie ďalšieho postupu v nasledujúcich rokoch.

Today, an estimated 152 million children are victims of child labour worldwide. These 152 million children are being denied their right to have access to education and to a safe living environment. On the occasion of the World Day against Child Labour on 12 June, the European Union, alongside its international partners, reiterates its strong commitment towards guaranteeing the fundamental human rights of every child, as defined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development target to end child labour in all its forms by 2025.
