On the Day of Remembrance for all Victims of Chemical Warfare, the EU commemorates those who have died and suffered from these atrocious weapons and condemns in the strongest terms the use of chemical weapons by anyone, whether a State or non-State actor, anywhere, at any time and under any circumstances, as a violation of international law

Feeling as an outsider, missing school or dropping out, having even suicidal thoughts… The consequences of school related violence can be many, profound and with long lasting effects on a child’s physical, psychological and emotional development.

Children account for 22% of all victims of trafficking. The majority of child victims are girls, almost 78%. The EU Anti-Trafficking Day is a reminder that trafficking of children remains a serious threat in the EU.
