The Grow with European Union Finance: Information Session aims to provide clear, practical information about the extensive financial opportunities available to the private sector through the European Union.

The session will offer concrete advice and tips on how businesses can apply for these funds, aiming to broaden the pool of beneficiaries beyond the usual recipients.

This initiative responds directly to requests made at the Tanzania-European Union Business Forum which was held February 2023.

In addition, the session will highlight success stories of private sector stakeholders who have already benefited from EU funding through various programs, shining a light on their achievements which often go unnoticed by the media.

The session will feature the signing of a new financing tool grant contract worth TZS 11.23 billion (EUR 4 million) between the EU and the Financial Sector Deepening Trust, aimed at promoting inclusive finance for small and medium-sized enterprises operated by women and youth.
