The People's Matrix Association is a local organisation that advocates for the rights of Lesotho's LGBTIQ populations. It organises annual marches to commemorate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) and this year the march was held in Mafeteng on 18 May 2019. The EU was in attendance. The march has become a key event for Lesotho’s LGBTIQ community. The theme of this year's march was access to justice, a drive to ensure that LGBTIQ populations are not denied justice when they seek it.
