Three families, three countries, same dilemma
Come join us to watch the documentary, “Out & About” on International Human Rights Day on 10 December. This film follows three families talk about the challenges they face with having a child who is gay. In many countries being open about their children is out of the question due to social stigmas or anti-gay laws.
This is in cooperation with Tiwhanawhana Trust and Intersex Trust Aotearoa New Zealand (ITANZ). The Netherlands Embassy co-hosts this screening to celebrate and to raise awareness for International Human Rights Day on 10 December. We hope to open people’s eyes to human rights and social justice through the power of film.
“Out & About” is produced by the Dutch Foundation Human Rights in the Picture. This Foundation promotes human rights through film, art, new media and education. To view this trailer
