EU and Korea share net-zero emissions goals

South Korean president Moon Jae-in declared that Asia's fourth-largest economy has set a goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. This is a clear demonstration of our true partnership on the global stage. As President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said, we count on working with South Korea and look forward to delivering on the Paris Agreement. South Korea has set a great example for other partners to join this goal and ensure sustainable future for all.
