1st EU Film Festival to Kick Off on 1 November

The 1st EU Film Festival in Korea is opening on 01 November 2018 in Seoul: an opportunity to experience the unique European heritage.

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea together with the Korean Film Archive (KOFA) will co-host this first edition of the EU Film Festival and present 11 European short and long feature films in partnership with the Embassies and the Cultural Centres of Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden. 

In addition, there will be a special short lecture by Korean Film Director KIM Daehyun on 01/11 at 19:00 and a photo exhibition entitled "European Cinema Heritage" held on 1-4 November at KOFA Cinematheque premises.

제1회 유럽연합 영화제가 2018년 11월 1일 서울에서 개최 됩니다. 유럽의 영화 유산을 경험할 수 있는 특별한 기회가 될 것입니다.

주한 유럽연합 대표부는 한국영상자료원과 함께 제1회 유럽연합 영화제를 공동 주최하며, 벨기에, 프랑스, 독일, 헝가리, 아일랜드, 이탈리아, 라트비아, 네덜란드, 슬로바키아 스페인, 그리고 스웨덴을 포함한 총 11개의 유럽연합 회원국 대사관 및 문화원과 협력하여 11편의 장 단편 영화를 선보일 예정입니다. 

더불어, 11월 1일 오후 7시에는 김대현 영화감독의 특별강연이 있으며, 11월 1-4일까지 '유럽의 영화 유산' 사진전도 마련되어 있습니다.
