Five journalists, including Ms Jaeun Lee of Money Today who wrote "One hour, 700 won is legal," Ms Bomi Im of DongA Ilbo for "My artificial leg, Isn't it beautiful?”-‘Snowboarder Mom,' Ms Minah Kim of Kyunghyang Shinmun for Paralympics Ice Hockey Team - "I can tell if I'm in heaven, as we can move as we think in the game," Ms Eunsoo Jin of Korea JoongAng Daily for "Technology offers freedom of mobility" were awarded by Michael Reiterer, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Korea. Ambassador Reiterer recognised excellence in reporting on non-discrimination and diversity during the 2018 Winter Olympics and Paralympics that took place in Korea. The five journalists will travel to Brussels to further cover the EU policies on non-discrimination, diversity and social inclusion, also in light of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights this year, as an award.
