In our increasingly globalised world, mutually beneficial peace, security and defence initiatives and partners are more needed than ever.

Following its first-ever edition in 2023, the EU announces the second edition of the Schuman Security & Defence Forum, to take place in Brussels, 28-29 May 2024.

This year’s ‘Schuman Forum’ will bring together high-level representatives of the European Union, EU Member States and partner countries, international and regional organisations, as well as leading think tanks and academia.

The forum will focus on how ongoing and potential peace, security and defence partnerships can respond to the most pressing security threats and challenges of our time and so contribute to global peace and security and uphold the international rules-based order and multilateralism.

This forum will provides a platform for key players to discuss and address common challenges in the peace, security and defence areas.
