Adaptation Futures (AF) is the world’s premier biennial conference on climate change adaptation. It aims to facilitate discussions between key actors from diverse perspectives and regions: "Dialogues for solutions".
Climate change - the most systemic threat to humankind - affects all regions around the world, including South Africa and the European Union with its 28 Member States. The EU and South Africa have therefore both signed and ratified the landmark 2015 Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Now we are at a crucial time for the implementation of our shared commitment to keeping the increase in global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels, and aiming to limit the increase to 1.5°C.
