MESSAGE FROM THE AMBASSADOR
Dear Visitors,
It is my honour to welcome you to the official website of the European Union Delegation to Somalia. This platform provides an overview of the EU’s engagement and longstanding partnership with the Federal Republic of Somalia and the people of Somalia.
The European Union and Somalia maintain a strategic partnership grounded in common interest, mutual respect, and a commitment to peace, security, and sustainable development. Our collaboration is structured through the EU-Somalia Joint Operational Roadmap, which defines three priority areas for joint action: inclusive politics and democratisation; security and stabilisation; and socio-economic growth.
With the Team Europe in the Federal Republic of Somalia, composed of the Delegation of the European Union, EU Member States, three Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) actors in Somalia (EUCAP, EUTM, EUNAVFOR ), DG INTPA, DG ECHO , the EU’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments, we work every day in an integrated manner to strengthen this modern and ambitious partnership with the Federal Republic of Somalia.
I wish you a good virtual visit to discover concrete achievements of our partnership and learn more about EU-Somalia relations.
