The Council today adopted conclusions welcoming the publication of the first joint synthesis report of the EU and its member states on ''Supporting the Sustainable Development Goals across the world'' as an important contribution to EU reporting at the High Level Political Forum in 2019. The Council welcomes the collective contribution of the EU and its member states to the implementation of all Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the world, leveraging all means of implementation, in support of the 2030 Agenda.

On Thursday 27th June 2019, the European Union in Singapore, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) and Clingendael – The Netherlands Institute for International Relations jointly present the SIIA-Clingendael Dialogue: Enhancing EU-Singapore Connectivity.
Focusing on connectivity in key areas such as infrastructure, digital and people-to-people connectivity, the conference brings together industry leaders and policy makers from both Singapore and Europe.

Den højtstående repræsentant og næstformand for Kommissionen, Federica Mogherini, har forelagt den tredje statusrapport om gennemførelsen af Den Europæiske Unions globale strategi, "EU's globale strategi i praksis — efter tre år og i fremtiden", som skal drøftes af EU's udenrigs- og forsvarsministre på samlingen i Rådet for Udenrigsanliggender den 17. juni 2019 i Luxembourg. I rapporten ses der på de fremskridt, der er gjort i de seneste tre år siden fremlæggelsen af den globale strategi i juni 2016, på fem prioriterede områder — vores Unions sikkerhed, staters og samfunds modstandsdygtighed øst og syd for os, en integreret tilgang til konflikter og kriser, regionale samarbejdsordninger og global styring i det 21. århundrede — og der gives muligheder for vejen frem i de kommende år.
