They looked ahead to 2027, which will mark 60 years of ASEAN and the 50th anniversary of EU-ASEAN Dialogue Relations, a milestone that underscores five decades of friendship and cooperation.

The Ambassador noted that the EU remains strongly committed to advancing this partnership. “As we approach the 50th anniversary of EU-ASEAN relations, with Singapore as Chair of ASEAN, we have a unique opportunity to deepen our cooperation in building a more connected, secure and sustainable future,” he said.
