As part of the EU Industry Days and EU Industry Week 2021, the EU Delegation to Singapore together with Singapore's European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) presents the webinar titled: Are we ready for the future? Shaping flexible and innovative skills policy worldwide

This webinar on Monday, 22nd February (4pm-5.30pm) presents a platform for EU and Singapore policymakers and industry representatives to exchange views on latest policies and actions undertaken to address talent and skills gaps – with a focus on digital ones – in important industries such as aeronautics and cybersecurity. The webinar seeks to deepen the dialogue and rich exchanges among the public, the private sector, industry experts and academia.

Speakers include: Mr Nicolas Schmit, EU Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights; Slawomir Tokarski, Director for industrial policy and skills, European Commission (DG GROW); Dr Gog Soon Joo, Chief Skills Officer, SkillsFuture Singapore; Tiffany Rose, Vice Present, Legal Counsel for HERE Technologies; Marvin Toh, Founder, OPSolutions.

The event is moderated by Ms Simonetta Cook, Member of Cabinet of the President of the European Council.
