The strategy, announced in September last year, draws on the EU's experience of enhancing connectivity within its own borders and in its immediate neighbourhood. More sustainable connectivity helps people enjoy higher standards of living while creating more opportunities for education, cross-collaboration, research and promoting cultural exchange.
In her lecture, our Ambassador H.E. Barbara Plinkert will talk about the wide-ranging impact, areas of enhanced EU-ASEAN collaboration as well as benefits of the EU Connectivity Strategy for the region.
