#Street HeART - Two continents, one beat

14.12.2021

Our project “Street HeART - two continents, one beat” is back in Addis Ababa with a brand new mural produced by 8 young Ethiopian artists who are part of Addis Street Art collective.

It can be seen in Sarbet area and joins other walls painted in the city under the same EU-funded project.

Earlier this year, 4 artists from South Africa, Ghana, Italy and Spain spread their creativity in Addis and helped us celebrating Europe Day (9 May) and Africa Day (23 May).

The initiative happens in line with the objectives of Agenda 2063 as African Union (AU) Heads of States and government have declared 2021 as the AU Year of the Arts, Culture and Heritage.

All artists honored the themes of unity in diversity and of partnership through the universal language of art.

The Ethiopian artists are Dagmawi Amanual, Debora Oboya, Ephrata Birihanu, Hermela Girma, Saron Bogale, Solomon Kifle, Temesgen Tadele, Tiemar Tegene and Yosef Seboksa

The International artists are Edoardo Trionfera (Italy), Maria Peña Coto (Spain), Mohammed Awudu (Ghana) and Wesley Van Eeden (South Africa).
