5 non-profit organizations became finalists of the additional round of grant competition announced in the framework of the project “EU solidarity with the Russian civil society: assistance to elderly people and adults with disabilities”:

• German national regional public organization of the Altai Territory public organization of the All-Russian society of disabled people, Altai Territory, the village of Podsosnovo
• Regional organization of veterans-pensioners of war, labor, military service and law enforcement agencies of the Kolyvan district of the Novosibirsk region
• Perm regional organization of the All-Russian public organization of the disabled "All-Russian Order of the Red Banner of Labor Society of the Blind" (PKO VOS)
• Local religious Catholic organization "Caritas-Volgograd" in Volgograd
• Autonomous non-profit organization helping to improve the quality of life of people from social risk groups "The Right of Everyone", Orenburg

To date, a total of 48 Russian non-profit organizations have received EU grants to support elderly people and adults with disabilities.

The project “EU solidarity with the Russian civil society: assistance to elderly people and adults with disabilities” is funded by the European Union and implemented by the CAF Charitable Foundation. It aims to help elder people and adults with disabilities in Russia to cope with the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences. In addition to the EU, which is a key donor for the project, individual contributions were made by Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland and Estonia.
