30 participants from 20 Russian cities from Tyumen to St Petersburg took part. The programme included meetings with EU officials, experts and participation in the international student's conference “Challenges 2018” at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, in which students from the EU Member-States and other countries participated as well.
Students had an opportunity to hear lectures by EU Ambassador to the Russian Federation Markus Ederer and Stefan Weidinger, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Austria to the Russian Federation. During the meetings students asked questions about situation in the EU and worldwide.
One of the sessions was dedicated to the history of the EU Study Weeks with participation of the project managers from the past years. Both students and the project managers shared their impressions about the past events as well information on how participation in the EU Study Weeks influenced their education and academic interests.
