Voluntary Projects (European Voluntary Service)
The voluntary projects are open to all young people aged 17-30 and allows to be meaningfully involved abroad from 2 till 12 months. There are also exceptional possibilities for shorter projects. A wide variety of voluntary projects are available in many areas such as social care, the environment, culture, etc. Voluntary projects help young people to self-develop and learn many competencies important for their professional future.
Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet, live and work together for up to 21 days. Youth exchange is created by the young people themselves and its theme is based on their common interest. Working together allows to learn other cultures, break stereotypes, build self-confidence, learn basics of other languages, and many more.
Youth Workers Mobility
Erasmus+ supports the professional development of youth workers and trainers through training or networking activities such as: training courses, seminars, study visits, job shadowing or observation periods at relevant organisations in a period from 2 days to 2 months.
Russian organizations and young people are eligible to benefit from voluntary projects and youth exchanges, while youth workers and trainers can benefit from activities targeting their professional development.
In order to participate in youth exchanges Russian young people should contact any Russian non-governmental organisation or public institution interested to support them. To join voluntary projects, Russian young people should contact Russian accredited sending organisations (can be found in the database
Russian youth workers and trainers can participate in specific activities dedicated to them. They are often promoted via the SALTO European Training Calendar
. Organisations are also free to cooperate and create own unique projects with partners from Programme Countries (European Union + Macedonia, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Turkey).
Project application deadlines in 2018 are: 15 February, 26 April and 4 October.
