The EU’s assistance aims to help the country complete the planned reforms necessary to obtain EU membership.
To mark the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights this milestone, the UN Human Rights Regional Office for Europe launched "Making a Difference: An Introduction to Human Rights", a user-friendly guidebook that explains the basics of human rights in an easy-to-understand manner and format. It equips the reader with a concise explanation of human rights and the international human rights framework and mechanisms.
This report reflects the results of the Thematic Evaluation of EU Support to Roma Communities carried out as Component 1 of the Project Thematic Evaluation of EU Support to Roma Communities and Roma Social Mapping, project contracted under Framework Contract by the EU Delegation. The covered sample of 17 Grant project ( from total 22) implemented during 2016-2018 and provides key findings, conclusions and recommendations from the financial assistance to Roma. Evaluated are namely grant contracts addressing Roma inclusion and implemented within the IPA/Operational Programme for Huma Resource Development- OPHRD 2007-2013, IPA II Civil Society Facility -CSF and European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights - EIDHR
The project “Further up-grade of TETRA system (TETRA IV) and establishment of Emergency call E-112” (EuropeAid/139546/DH/SER/MK) is financed by the European Union within the frames of the Country Action Programme – IPA 2016/039-618.
Project start date is 5th November 2018, project duration is 30 months.
