The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) have supported outstanding researchers and renowned host organisations for more than 20 years.  The MSCA 2019 Call for Individual Fellowships is now open to researchers all over the world, who have a doctoral degree or at least four years’ full-time research experience. The deadline for applying is set on 11 September 2019 (17:00:00 Brussels time).

The European Union welcomes the establishment of the Angeles City Justice Zone by the Justice Sector Coordinating Council (JSCC) today, 12 April 2019, in support of justice sector reform in the Philippines.
The JSCC, jointly headed by the Supreme Court, the Department of Justice and the Department of the Interior and Local Government, launches Angeles City as a Justice Zone on the basis of Joint Resolution 01-2019 signed on March 7, 2019 at the Principals’ Meeting held in Manila City.

Small and medium enterprises based in Indonesia can now take advantage of a new online tool - ASEAN Solutions for Investments, Services and Trade (ASSIST) - to address their practical problems when trading within ASEAN. The ASSIST online facility was developed with the support of the European Union.

The Council today adopted a set of conclusions concerning the implementation by the EU of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, which was established in 2015 and comprises a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Given the horizontal nature of the 2030 Agenda, its implementation requires a cross-policy approach by the EU and its member states. Earlier this year, the Commission published a reflection paper "Towards an ever more sustainable Union by 2030," to which the conclusions are a response.
