The Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines has urged local government units to sustain reforms in public finance management.

Fifty-five families in Ormoc City will soon be able to move in to their disaster-resilient homes with the turnover today of housing units supported by the European Union (EU) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

In the coming weeks 35 Filipino students will pursue their academic dreams in several countries of the European Union after they won scholarships under the EU's Erasmus+ Programme.

The Erasmus+ Programme will allow them to pursue MA and PhD programmes in different universities across the European continent. The scholarship is structured to allow students to pursue their studies in more than
one country giving them the opportunity to benefit from the academic expertise and culture of more than one university. 

EU Ambassador H.E Franz Jessen will inaugurate the Mindanao Collective Trademark System on 21 June in Park Inn, Davao City.

He will join Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Secretary Luwalhati Antonino and business groups in Mindanao in launching the Mindanao Collective Trademark System.

For the period 2014-2020, the EU is supporting ASEAN integration and the ASEAN Secretariat with € 170 million.
