- The Siargao Electric Cooperative, Inc. will hold an online Pre-Bid Conference on July 14, 2020, from 2 o’clock in the afternoon which shall be open to prospective bidders. Only prospective bidders who bought the bid documents will be allowed to attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Attendance to the Pre-Bid Conference is compulsory. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid conference shall constitute disqualification in the bidding process.
- Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat at the address below or by e-mail on or before 2 PM on July 27, 2020. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bid opening shall be on July 27, 2020, from 2 o’clock in the afternoon at SIARELCO Main Office, Catabaan, Brgy. 12, Dapa Surigao del Norte. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
- If allowed by authorities, a site visit at the Halian and Anajawan Islands maybe conducted on July 10 and 11, 2020 at the expense of the bidder. In lieu of the physical site visit and in observance of the compulsory or voluntary precautions to prevent further spread of COVID-19, bidders may request for available photographs, maps and videos of the respective islands that will be sent to the bidders before the scheduled online pre-bid conference. This request must be made at the same time as the request for bidding documents, both not after July 10, and the additional cost for reproducing and mailing hard copies of these materials shall be borne by the bidders.
- The Siargao Electric Cooperative, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
