EIDHR aims at providing support for the promotion of democracy and human rights in non-EU countries. The key objectives of the EIDHR are: Enhancing respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms in countries and regions where they are most at risk.

The EIDHR is a “niche instrument” designed to support small-scale and innovative actions by civil society organisations in the field of human rights and democracy.

Deadline for submission of concept notes is on 15 April 2020.

We regret to inform you that the EIDHR information session scheduled on 18 March 2020 has been cancelled in response to an urgent public health issue.   

However, the Call for Proposals will proceed as usual with the deadline for submission of concept notes fixed at 15 April 2020.
