This year again, the European Union in Jordan fully supports Karama Human Rights Film Festival, the reference cultural event in the #HumanRights agenda in Jordan. Seventy movie screenings, Q&A with directors, actors & producers, music performances, panel discussions on Human Rights issues and exhibitions. All free of charge.
From 5 to 10 December at the Royal Cultural Center, Amman.
In the afternoon of Saturday 8/12, an EU/EBRD session will feature stories of resilience told by Jordanian & Syrian protagonists: screening of the EBRD mini-documentary “Refuge in Jordan: A new start for Syrians” and launching of "My Story" photo book and exhibition, part of EDU-SYRIA project.

Karama aims to increase awareness of critical Human Rights issues and abuses around the world through film screenings, public debates and discussions and an educational program extending to schools, universities and community centers in Jordan.
The festival tackles issues ranging from democracy, freedom of expression, women and children's rights, immigration, worker's rights and economic and social liberties.
