The Chargé d´Affaires a.i. Richard Young of the Delegation, congratulated the awardees on their success in obtaining the Erasmus+ scholarship and enjoined them to be good ambassadors of both their country and the programme.
The lucky awardees also had the opportunity to learn more about the European Union, its Institutions and the EU-Nigeria Cooperation. More interestingly was the fact that some Erasmus+ alumni were on ground to give them first-hand information on Study in Europe - Visa, Travels, Socialization, Mobility Track System, Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Network etc.
There are about 16 Awardees from Nigeria this year and each of them will study in at least two different universities located in different member state countries.
