This consultation process is a part of the informal exchanges with wide range of stakeholders from EU Member States and Partner Countries which was launched at the High-Level Conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) this May in Brussels. The wide public discussion will provide an opportunity for key stakeholders to voice opinions and be part of the development of the future of the Eastern Partnership.
The Eastern Partnership was established in May 2009 to enhance relations between the EU, its member states and partner countries. The EaP has successfully provided a framework for enhancement of political association and deepening economic integration, and a structured cooperation mechanism through which a wide range of reforms for the benefit of the citizens of both Partner Countries and EU Member States have been achieved. The implementation of the 20 Deliverables and the Association Agendas/Partnership Priorities remain key.
As a part of the consultation process also a dedicated consultation web page with steering questions has been launched to allow a wide range of stakeholders to contribute until 31 October 2019 to the reflections of the future of our Partnership https://ec.europa.eu/neighbourhood-enlargement/tenders/consultation_eap_en
