The overall objective of the action is to enhance the capacity of non state actors (NSA) to improve the well-being of disadvantaged groups in Thanh Hoa Province.

Text

The specific objective of this action is to establish and strengthen the capacity of 80 civil society organisations in Ba Thuoc and Thuong Xuan Districts to engage with local authorities to promote greater inclusion of vulnerable groups in service delivery and development.

The action has 5 expected results:

  • 80 community led Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs (ISHCs) established and able to lead initiatives promoting participatory development;
  • Increased income for at least 3 200 disadvantaged households in poor communities;
  • Improved health and care services and health awareness for 17 600 people;
  • Enhanced access to rights and entitlements for marginalized groups through new community monitoring mechanism;
  • Greater policy dialogue, collaboration and experience sharing between local service providers, local authorities and communities.
