The Government of Namibia has prioritized the enhancement of its Performance Management System (PMS) to improve governance, service delivery, and accountability within the public sector. This project builds upon previous EU support and aims to implement a fully automated PMS that aligns with Namibia’s Vision 2030 and National Development Plans.

The initiative will strengthen institutional capacities, ensure compliance with performance agreements, and improve monitoring and reporting mechanisms across public institutions. The project is structured around five key result areas, including the development of an automated PMS, capacity building for technical staff, the finalization and implementation of a PMS communication plan, certification programs for public service professionals, and the establishment of long-term capacity-building programs.
