For over 30 years, the European Union (EU) has been
supporting the people of Myanmar through times of
change, challenge, and hope.
Under the theme “EU-Myanmar: Voices of Connection”,
this competition invites visual artists of all ages living
in Myanmar to express, through their art, the many
connections that shape the relationship between the
European Union and Myanmar. Through this initiative, the EU aims to foster creative expression and further strengthen EU–Myanmar relations through the universal language of art.
Participants can win prizes of up to 1,500,000 MMK, and their artworks will be featured on EU social media
channels and showcased in a physical exhibition.
The submission deadline is 1 March 2026.
