With the support of the European Union, UNICEF and Denmark, almost 4,000 children in 45 townships were given the chance to receive non-formal primary education in 2016 and 2017.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world", said Nelson Mandela once. In Myanmar nearly 2.7 million children aged 5-16 years are not in school. For many of them, non-formal primary education offers a second chance, an equitable and inclusive education pathway.
