EUCAP SAHEL MALI and MILITARY JUSTICE : A LONG TERM SYNERGY

EUCAP SAHEL-Mali handed over computer equipment to the Military Justice of Bamako and Mopti. The official handover took place on Friday, October 8, 2021, at EUCAP SAHEL-Mali headquarters in Sébénikoro.

Worth 65,384,481 FCFA, this donation is made up of, among other things, computers, printers, video projectors, badges holders, portable scanners, fax machines.

Support which, according to the director of military justice, Colonel Major Issa Ousmane Coulibaly, will improve the working conditions of his department. According to Colonel-Major Issa Ousmane Coulibaly, there has been a close partnership with EUCAP for a long time, with which many synergies have developed with quite a few army structures. Therefore the thanking is not only for the materials but also for the continuity of the support and accompaniment.

As Hervé Flahaut, Head of Mission of EUCAP Sahel Mali, has said in his brief final speech, this computer equipment is mainly intended to enable the direction of military justice and the military courts of Bamako and Mopti to function in line with the tasks assigned to them. The mission will continue to support Mali technically and materially on aspects of the rule of law, the fight against impunity and the promotion of human rights.
