Political relations between Jamaica and the EU centre around various agreements:
- The African, Caribbean Pacific (ACP) EU Partnership Agreement - Also known as the Cotonou Agreement, this is the most comprehensive partnership agreement between developing countries and the EU. It focuses on:

- Political cooperation
- Economic and trade cooperation
