The Council today adopted a decision to provide up to 3 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to ten enlargement and neighbourhood partners to help them cope with the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, we celebrate cultural diversity in the European Union and underline its importance in fostering dialogue and respect between people all around the world. Europe is a mosaic of diversity shaped by centuries of exchanges between different nations, languages and cultures.  

En el Día Mundial de la Diversidad Cultural para el Diálogo y el Desarrollo celebramos la diversidad cultural en la Unión Europea y destacamos su importancia para fomentar el diálogo y el respeto entre las personas de todo el mundo. Europa es un mosaico de diversidad resultado de siglos de intercambios entre diferentes naciones, idiomas y culturas.

Во Всемирный день культурного разнообразия во имя диалога и развития мы чествуем культурное разнообразие в Европейском союзе и подчеркиваем его важность для развития диалога и уважения между людьми во всем мире. Европа – это мозаика разнообразия, сформированная многовековыми обменами между разными народами, языками и культурами.

У Сусветны дзень культурнай разнастайнасці ў імя дыялогу і развіцця мы святкуем культурную разнастайнасць у Еўрапейским саюзе і падкрэсліваем яе важнасць для развіцця дыялогу і павагі паміж людзьмі ва ўсім свеце. Еўропа – гэта мазаіка разнастайнасці, сфармаваная шматвекавымі абменамі паміж рознымі народамі, мовамі і культурамі.

The Call for Proposals “Support to Civil Society in the Republic of Moldova”, Ref.: EuropeAid/168700/DD/ACT/MD, is published today. The priorities of this call for proposals are to provide sub-granting for social services, economic development and vulnerable groups (e.g. children, youth, elderly, homeless, people with special needs, etc.).  

Today is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT). On this occasion, I want to focus this blog post on people who still suffer discrimination and violence because of their identity and because they cannot freely live and love according to their choice. More specifically, I want to pay tribute to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI+) community and to all the LGBTI+ activists who defend the right to be oneself.
