Green Finance and Investment Forum Moldova

Green Finance and Investment Forum Moldova is launched as an annual platform for dialogue between public authorities, financial institutions, investors, development partners and the business community, dedicated to promoting and monitoring the implementation of green investments in the Republic of Moldova.

 

The forum takes place in the context of intensifying efforts to transition to a low-emission, resource-efficient economy and align with European sustainability goals. The event aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and identify the necessary solutions for mobilising green investments and developing sustainable financing instruments.

The event will bring together representatives of European institutions, public authorities, the financial sector, the business community and development partners. Among the guests of honour are the European Commissioner for the Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, Jessika Roswall.

The discussions will focus on:

• the current state of green financing and the investment needs of the Republic of Moldova;

• financial instruments available to support green projects;

• the role of the public sector and financial institutions in mobilising investments;

• measures needed to accelerate the implementation of sustainable projects.

The event is organised by Fintech Hub and AmCham Moldova.
